Globe Wireless, a maritime telecommunications service provider, has recently announced key appointments to its expanding worldwide sales network.
Richard A. Johnson, previously with American President Lines, is named Vice President, Sales. Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for the Companys worldwide sales and customer support activities. He recently joined Globe Wireless and is located at the new corporate office in Foster City, California.
Michael P. McNally, most recently with MMS, is appointed Vice President, International Sales and is located in Bethel, Connecticut. Mr. McNally also recently joined the company and is concentrating his initial activities in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and the U.S. Northeast.
Walter J. Kane, III, is appointed to Director of Sales, Americas. Located in Foster City, California, he has sales responsibility for Canada, Latin America, and the US South Atlantic, Gulf and West Coasts. Mr. Kane has been with Globe Wireless since 1993.
Andrew Waters, Director of International Sales has primary responsibility for creating and managing Globe Wireless first full branch office in Athens, Greece. This new facility will provide sales and service to customers in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Adriatic regions. Mr. Waters, formerly with the BIMCOM division of Cable & Wireless, has been with the company since 1996.
