WALTER J. KANE ACHIEVES INTERNATIONAL SALES CERTIFICATION
Certified Marketing Services International (CMSI) of Sterling, Virginia, is pleased to announce that Mr. Walter J. Kane of Pearl River, Louisiana, is the latest Sales Professional to become certified through their International Certification Program.
Mr. Kane, Director of Sales (Americas) at Globe Wireless, LLC., received his certificate as CS (Certified Sales) from Certified Marketing Services International (CMSI) on July 21, 1999. CMSI is the first company in the world to be accredited by the Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA) to offer an International Marketing and Sales Certification program analogous to the highly regarded ISO 9000 program.
The CMSI program grants certification to those individuals in Marketing and Sales who have reached certain achievement levels through experience and personal references, who have completed an authorized training program, and passed a comprehensive monitored examination. To remain certified, Walter J. Kane, CS, must provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and provide additional customer and professional references annually.
Seven years ago, Walter joined Globe Wireless. His technical knowledge of marine electronic telecommunications systems; and vast experience with marine communication services are significant assets. Having previously served aboard numerous U.S. flag merchant vessels as Radio Officer, he gained considerable industry insight. Today, he specializes in
